Prep for Night is a music video directed by Mickey Keating, it depicts the events of the night before The Strangers: Prey at Night, while an eerie version of "I Think We're Alone Now" plays in the background.

Events

Man in the Mask

Man in the Mask is in a vehicle repair shop getting his truck repaired, he seems to have murdered the owners, presumably because they asked too many questions, and is cleaning himself up and stares at himself in the mirror. He makes his way outside and sends a smiley face text message to somebody and then goes over to his truck. He grabs his mask from the bed, puts it on and smiles into the mirror.

Pin-Up Girl

Pin-Up Girl is in a building for Christian Worshippers and reads the Christian Living Brochure from the first film, police sirens approach and someone knocks on the door. She opens it but notices it's the police so she closes the door and locks it. Police storm the building, she opens a secret escape hatch, grabs her mask and jumps. She collects her mask off the ground and flees, meeting with Man in the Mask who is waiting for her.

Dollface

Dollface is in the house of unknown inhabitants, possibly her family, she enters the bedroom where it seems there has been a murder. She turns on a record of the classic version of I Think We're Alone Now and dances to it, and then she begins writing "hello" on the mirror in lipstick before the record fails. She switches the record player off and hears a beep outside. She makes her way over to the window and notices the other two waiting for her, they flash the headlights and Dollface admires herself in the mirror.
